San Diego Fall 2008

When:

October 2, Noon - 5:00pm - Meeting at SDSU

October 2,  5:30pm - 7 pm - Reception at the Faculty/Staff Club

October 3, 8:30am - 3:30pm - Meeting at SDSU

Where:

Meetings: San Diego State University, Adams Humanities, rooms 1120  and 1112

Hotel:

We have not setup a room block so you have a choice in hotels.

We are recommending the DoubleTree at Hazard Center Drive.  The corp/Gov rate is $130 for one night on Oct 2, or $110 for Oct 2 & 3, plus 12.65% tax.

Meals:

We will have catered lunches both days as well as snacks and a morning muffin, coffee, and tea service on Friday.

Tranportation:

If you are staying at the DoubleTree and need a ride from the airport, you will need to call the hotel upon arrival 619.297.5466 and have them send the shuttle for you.

Trolley Info:

San Diego has an excellent trolley/light rail system.  For maps, prices and times, please check out Google Maps Public Transit option.
 
The trolley station is across the street from and to the left of the hotel on Hazard Center Drive.  Take the "Green Santee" trolley to get to campus.  The "Green Old Town" trolley will get you back to the hotel.  Each ride is $2.50.
