What is Turnitin?

iParadigm's Turnitin plagarism prevention software is in use throughout the CSU system.  This product integrates with the campus' chosen LMS and allows students and faculty to submit papers to check for plagarized content.  To get more information on Turnitin and the additional iParadigm products, see the attached Powerpoint presentation or visit http://www.turnitin.com

Turnitin2 Webinars on LMS Integration

Turnitin presented a webinar for Moodle 1.9x integration on August 30. Access the webinar recording.

What is the status of the contract?

The 2009 Turnitin contract talks have begun as of October 2008.  The contract period will run from Feb 2010-Feb 2011. 

 

How do I get my keys?

Since TurnItIn is web-based, there are no keys required.  The vendor automatically keeps the account enabled.

System adinistrators can also log into the TurnItIn.com site to download training materials and updated plug-ins for your Learning Management System(s).
